Man charged in grocery store armed robbery denied bail

MONCTON, N.B. – A 20 year-old man accused of armed robbery and break and enter will have to spend time behind bars until his next court appearance.

Jesse James Graham was denied bail in Moncton court today on both charges.

Graham was arrested without incident on Friday by Codiac RCMP.

They say on July 19th, a man threatened an employee at the Riverview Superstore with what appeared to be a gun when he was accused of shoplifting.

Graham is also accused of a break and enter at a University Avenue home on June 15th.

He’ll be back in court on August 20th.
