Enbridge: 2Q Earnings Snapshot

CALGARY, Alberta (AP) _ Enbridge Inc. (ENB) on Wednesday reported second-quarter earnings of $1.26 billion.
The Calgary, Alberta-based company said it had net income of 59 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 41 cents per share.
The results met Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 41 cents per share.
The oil and natural gas transportation and power transmission company posted revenue of $5.78 billion in the period.
Enbridge shares have decreased 21% since the beginning of the year. The stock has fallen slightly more than 5% in the last 12 months.
