ABBOTSFORD (NEWS1130) – A man who was sentenced to 20 months in jail for pretending to be a cop online so that he could meet teenage boys has been arrested again.
Cst. Ian MacDonald with Abbotsford Police say the 22-year-old used social media to contact victims.
“We can confirm already that he did actually meet some young men under the age of 18.”
Goddard has been charged with four counts of breaching his probation. He is not supposed to be contacting kids online.
He was arrested last night and appeared in court earlier today.
Last year he pleaded guilty to several charges including invitation to sexual touching.
This came after several children complained about a guy pretending to be anything from a cop to a TV producer online to strike up relationships with them.
Goddard is accused of doing the same thing this time around.
Back in February police put out a public warning when Goddard was released from custody.
