PEMBERTON (NEWS1130) – A 26-year-old Surrey man has gone missing after cliff diving at a lake north of Pemberton.

Search crews, including a helicopter, have been scouring Anderson Lake for the man.

According to police, the man was on a  boating excursion when he decided to scale a 175 foot cliff for a dive into the lake.

But he didn’t resurface and friends couldn’t find him after they dove in.

An RCMP dive team has been called in and should begin their search tomorrow.
