SEATTLE (NEWS110) – All 80 people aboard a YVR to Seattle Horizon Air flight are okay after it made an emergency landing during the noon hour at the Sea-Tac Airport.
The Dash 8 aircraft lost one of its two engines after the pilot noticed higher-than-normal oil temperatures shortly after leaving Vancouver.
He shut down an engine as a precaution.
Alaska Airlines, which operates Horizon, says the plane is designed to operate on only one engine if necessary.
