BELLINGHAM (NEWS1130) – A strange scene for people driving down to Bellingham this afternoon.

A single-engine Cessna had some engine trouble, and witnesses say it was sputtering as landed just before 2 p.m.
    
Alex Gray is with KGMI radio in Bellingham and says no one was hurt.

“It had to taxi off of the freeway onto a regular road and into a gas station. From what we heard from listeners it was sputtering and it was coming down, and people were able to avoid it”

The plane landed safely, and Gray says it sounds like there was only one car that was damaged.

She says the plane was destined for the Bellingham Airport.
