SURREY (NEWS1130) – A woman in her 40′s has been left shaken after an attempted sexual assault early Wednesday morning.
It happened behind a business at 128th Street and 96th Avenue at about 4:30 a.m.
Mounties say the woman was sifting through recyclable clothing when a man tried to sexually assault her. He was scared off by a person walking by who saw what was happening.
Surrey RCMP say the woman was not physically harmed.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5’9″ with a slender build. He is said to have a wide set of big eyes and clean shaven. RCMP say he was wearing a dark toque and light coloured pants at the time of the alleged assault.
