VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – With the last holiday of the summer, comes many closures around the city.
Most banks, City Hall and libraries won’t be open.
Mail won’t be delivered and garbage and recycling won’t be picked up.
If you’re looking for things to do, many tourist attractions like the Vancouver Aquarium and Science World will remain open.
And of course, the PNE will be open for the last time this summer.
Many restaurants and shops will be closed, so it’s best to call ahead.
If you’re using public transportation, be prepared for a scaled back schedule.
TransLink will be on Sunday service.
