NANAIMO (NEWS1130) – Four Mounties in Nanaimo will be off the job for several days, recovering from injuries after a car accident this morning.
The RCMP says the unmarked car the officers were in was struck by a taxi.
All four officers were taken to the hospital because of neck and back injuries — all of them have been released.
The 59-year old taxi driver has been ticketed for failing to stop at a red light.
