VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Shots fired in the West End Tuesday afternoon are being linked to gang activity.
No one was hurt in shooting, which took place just after 3 o’clock on Jervis street near Comox. The incident later stopped a truck on the Burrard street bridge, which shut down traffic for over an hour.
The Vancouver Police Department is very worried, especially since it happened in a busy, public area in broad daylight.
“The vehicle that was stopped is a victim’s vehicle and was found with bullet holes in it, not the suspect vehicle,” says Cst. Brian Montague.
He says there are no suspects and he can’t say too much about the person or people in the vehicle that was hit.
