LOWER MAINLAND (NEWS1130) – The annual Cops for Cancer ride begins today.

Constable Don Duncan with the VPD says they will be in Burnaby and Coquitlam today.

“[There will be] a little bit of a rolling road closure. We will try not to disrupt things. But if you see us, give us a friendly toot and a wave. Feel free to donate if you wish to.”

For about two weeks, police officers and emergency personnel will be biking about 900 kilometres.
