VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – If you like beer (and who doesn’t?), there’s an event tonight you shouldn’t miss.
Beerlesque will be held at the Roundhouse Community Centre in Yaletown.
“You’ll be sampling BC’s craft beer,” explains Cassandra Anderton from Good Life Vancouver. “And the food trucks will be there. There will be comedians and clowns.”
Starting tomorrow and running until October 7th, you can celebrate Oktoberfest at Market in downtown Vancouver at the Shangri-La Hotel.
“There will be lunch and dinner daily,” says Anderton. “What they do is a three-course meal, which involves some of the best German sausages, some pork hock, sauerkraut, spaetzle, potato salad, and pretzels.”
There are also prizes for the best outfit, so dust off the lederhosen!
Hot Chefs and Cool Jazz is coming up in Burnaby on Friday, October 12th. Some of Vancouver’s best chefs will come together to raise funds for the Bocuse d’Or, a chef’s competition in France.
