Western Canadians have the lowest level of satisfaction with their auto insurance company, putting ICBC at the bottom of the list.
The J.D. Power and Associates survey uses a scale of 1,000 points, with ICBC rated at 651. Top-ranked Canadian Direct Insurance scored 806. ICBC has company, as the second- and third-lowest ratings also go to government-owned auto insurers in Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
Among the highly rated companies, CDI is followed by State Farm, TD Insurance and BCAA.

You may pay a little more but claims are processed and paid out in private insurance provinces.ICBC does not know what a just payout for a legitimate claim looks like.
They won’t move without a lawyer hounding them every step of the way.I hate their guts for
what they have not done for a close family member(a hit and run victim) without the means
to defend himself after 6 weeks in hospital back in 2011.
If it were not for ICBC we’d ALL! be paying 2-3 times (or more) for car insurance. These surveys are brought up by large insurance companies to gain more business.
