VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The sentencing hearing for a man who sexually assaulted several children has been put off until December 21st.

Ibata Hexamer pleaded guilty in August to several charges involving four children, including an attack on a six-year-old girl in Surrey in 2009.

DNA linked that attack to two others. In 2007, a couple of 14-year-old girls were held at knife-point and sexually assaulted in Delta. In 1995, a 13-year-old girl was attacked on the Lord Nelson School grounds in Vancouver.

After the 2009 attack in Surrey, police launched Project Scourge.

Hexamer had originally faced 23 charges related to those attacks but his plea deal will see him admit guilt on only six counts.
