SURREY (NEWS1130) – A boy is in serious condition in hospital after a hit-and-run in Surrey this afternoon.

The 11-year-old boy was crossing 82nd Avenue near 154th Street in Surrey this afternoon around 3:30 p.m.

The driver of the older model dark coloured Honda was speeding when they passed the bus, who’s lights were flashing and stop signs up.

RCMP are looking for the car, either a Civic or an Accord, that they say will have front end damage. It was last seen heading south on 152nd Street.
