ABBOTSFORD (NEWS1130) – Abbotsford Police are warning you about a man they believe sexually assaulted a teenager.
Todd Ronald Hildebrand, 40, of Bellingham is charged with two counts each of sexual assault, sexual interference, and invitation to sexual touching for incidents in Abbotsford ten years ago. The apparent victim in the case was 13 years old.
Constable Ian MacDonald says Hildebrand lives in the US, but is a Canadian citizen, and they can’t rule out the possibility there are more victims either side of the border.
“We want people to know about him, the fact he is under a court-ordered condition to not attend any public park, school, swimming pool, playground, or any other place children under the age of 16 would reasonably be expected to attend,” explains MacDonald.
He is 6’3” and weighs 180 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
Hildebrand has a court date in Abbotsford at the end of October; police believe he has returned to Bellingham.
