NEW YORK (NEWS1130) – The National Hockey League is cancelling another batch of regular season games.
The league says all games through Nov. 1 have been scrubbed due to the absence of a collective bargaining agreement with the NHL Players’ Association. The players have been locked out for over a month.
The league had already cancelled the first two weeks of the regular season. The initial cancellation wiped 82 games off the schedule; that number is now up to 135.
Both sides exchanged proposals this week in Toronto but no new talks are scheduled.
