PORT COQUITLAM (NEWS1130) – Police hope a couple of jackets left behind will lead to the people responsible for beating up a security guard in Port Coquitlam earlier this month.

Hoshiar Bajwa was assaulted by a group of men while working at a construction site south of Pitt River Middle School back on October 14th.

Bajwa reportedly saw a man try to jump the fence around the site. When he went to go talk to the man, police say two other men came up from behind him, hitting him on the head with metal bar.

The 64-year-old received over 100 stitches.
