Transit Police seek witness for investigation into explosive

SURREY (NEWS1130) – Transit Police have a description of someone they believe to be a witness to a SkyTrain incident last Friday.

A device was located on the line between Gateway and Scott Road stations; the witness would have been in the King George Station at around 1:30 p.m.

Police are hoping to speak to him or anyone who may recognize him, emphasizing the man is not a suspect or person of interest.

The man is described as a white man in his thirties of average height and build. He is balding and was wearing dark-framed glasses, a short-sleeved white shirt and beige pants and carrying a backpack at the time.

Transit Police investigators are also asking for any other information to help them find whoever is responsible for having made or deposited the device.
