Funeral planned for Surrey officer

SURREY (NEWS1130) – A funeral is planned for a Surrey RCMP officer killed in a collision.
The funeral for Cst. Adrian Oliver will take place Tuesday, November 20 at the Langley Event Centre. It will be open to the public and begin at 1 p.m.
Oliver died Tuesday after his police cruiser collided with a transport truck at 148th and 64th Avenue.
The 28-year-old began training with the RCMP in 2008, and was first posted to Surrey in 2009.
People wanting to attend the funeral are advised that seating priority will be given to Cst. Oliver’s family, friends, and colleagues.
The march will take place at noon.
