BURNABY (NEWS1130) – The Burnaby Serious Crimes Unit is investigation a home invasion and sexual assault.

Police say it occurred during the early morning of Nov. 15 in a house located in North West Burnaby.

They say a man broke into the house and sexually assaulted a woman inside.

The suspect is described as white, average height, and weight.

Investigators are trying to determine if this was a stranger-on-stranger sexual assault, a possibility they aren’t ruling out.
