VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – It looks like human remains have been found following a suspicious car fire in Vancouver last night.
    
It happened around 7:30 p.m. at 8th Avenue and Carolina Street.
    
Fire crews are trying to figure out how the blaze was started and the Vancouver Police’s Forensic Identification Unit and Major Crimes spent the night at the scene searching for evidence.

“Investigators are working with the Coroners Service to establish identity.  Once confirmation is made, we will be contacting family and conducting additional investigative steps before we are able to release further information,” says VPD Sgt. Randy Fincham.
