Update 6:13 a.m.: Jim Young has been found.

CHILLIWACK (NEWS1130) – A man who is in the early stages of Alzheimer’s has disappeared and family hope he is still in the Chilliwack area.

Jim Young, 81, took off in his 1995 red Ford Aerostar Saturday afternoon, from the area of Vedder Road and Promontory.

He’s five feet 10 inches tall, about 180 pounds, has grey hair and glasses.

His family is very worried about him, because of his medical condition.
