VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Attention Fred: Vancouver police have a bunch of your stuff and want to give it back to you.
    
Officers have recovered enough stolen property to fill two large vans, after a rash of thefts from construction sites, homes, and garages.
    
Detective Cst. Phil Ens says they’re now trying to find the owners, including one who had marked a lot of items with the name ‘Fred’.

“We have a lot of Fred’s stuff. We’d really like to get Fred his things back, we like to get everybody their things back. It’s been sort of amusing for us because everything that comes through here, we’re finding Fred on a lot of stuff and it’s become sort of personalized with us,” explains Ens.

“He became sort of a good buddy of ours because we kept finding him everywhere. Fred, if you’re out there, get a hold of us please,” adds Ens.

Suspects were selling the property on Craigslist.

Police are recommending charges against four people.
