Missing psychiatric patient returns to Colony Farm

COQUITLAM (NEWS1130) – The search is over for Charles Albert Hansen, the psych patient who went missing from Colony Farm Hospital yesterday.

Coquitlam RCMP Cpl. Jamie Chung says he returned to the facility late last night without incident. “He returned on his own to the hospital, so our investigators will be doing some follow-up with him and with the hospital, to find out where he’s been. We don’t know at this point.”

“We continue to work with the Colony Farm Forensic Psychiatric Hospital to find better ways to do things. It is, after all, a hospital, keep that in mind,” he adds.

Hansen had been issued a day-pass when he went missing.

Meanwhile, David Fomrades, who walked away from the hospital in May is still missing.
