SURREY (NEWS1130) – Two pedestrians were struck in Surrey Friday evening.
One of them was a case of hit and run, which happened at 132 St. and Huntley Ave. just before 7 p.m.
The RCMP’s Bob Pinkewycz describes the car they’re looking for. “A light-coloured (vehicle) last seen southbound on 132 Street,” he explains.
“There are indications it was a high-impact collision because of a shoe that was strewn in the middle of the intersection.”
The Toyota would have extensive damage on the front. The middle-aged man who was hit has serious injuries.
The other pedestrian accident occurred at Fraser Highway and Willowbrook at around the same time. A man in a wheelchair was hit, but in that case, the driver is cooperating.
