COQUITLAM (NEWS1130) – Coquitlam RCMP is looking for a person that has gone missing from the Colony Farm Forensic Psychiatric Hospital.

Kurt Derksen was on a day pass, visiting his brother in Richmond. Police say when his brother was busy, Derksen left the house, sometime between 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

A Canada-wide warrant has now been issued for the 58-year-old, who may be headed to the airport.

Derksen is white, five-foot-nine, 201 pounds. He has short brown hair, blue eyes, a full beard, and could be wearing glasses.

People are advised to not approach Derksen if they see him and to call 9-1-1 immediately.
