VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The only item a Vancouver woman in her 70′s is after this Christmas is for the return of her husbands remains.

A bottle being used as an urn was swiped during a break-and-enter on the west side.

Cst. Brian Montague has spoken with the victim. “She is obviously upset, something that is very dear to her… something she would like back.”

The thief likely isn’t even aware of what was made off with. “When looking at the perfume bottle or the urn it is very decorative, blown glass, decorated with black lines and cherry blossoms. It looks like it may have some value to it.”

He says it is about 4 inches tall, it is yellowish brown and it cannot be replaced. “We are hoping that whether it is the thief or someone who knows where this item is, that they will give us a phone call and return it.”
