LOWER MAINLAND (NEWS1130) – With snow falling around the Lower Mainland this morning, we sent News1130′s Jesse Johnston out to check on the roads.
He spotted quite a few problems as he made his way over the Port Mann Bridge into Surrey.
“The roads are really bad,” he reported.” They’ve already been coated in snow; it’s raining on top of that. With the temperature hovering around zero, that’s making the roads really slick.”
“My tires have been spinning all morning, and I’ve passed a lot of cars spun out and stuck in the median, especially around the 152nd Street stretch,” he added.
Citytv’s Greg Harper visited the Vancouver-Burnaby border this morning. “There are many vehicles that are struggling… we saw a taxi actually going in reverse. [People have] their hazards on. This is very treacherous here in South Burnaby. Going up Boundary Road, it is slick.”

What is with this new site, what was wrong with the old one???? Too easy to use,you have to screw it up??? This seems to be the norm for all websites, get people used to using it,then change so we can sit for an hour or two to figure it all out again.
Bring back the old site or you will lose me!!!
