VICTORIA (NEWS1130) – Premier Christy Clark and her son, Hamish, have extended their warm wishes to British Columbians this Christmas season.
The premier sent out a brief email message saying the holidays are a time for family, and a time for hope.
She reflected on the necessity over the past year of keeping up the faith for communities like Prince George and Burns Lake, where sawmills exploded and workers died, and also in Johnsons Landing, where residents were killed in a massive landslide.
Clark also mentions triumphs like BC’s Grade 4 students who got the best reading scores in Canada this year and provincial medical professionals who have ensured the province leads the world in cancer outcomes.
