Agassiz Centre for Education students put on breakfast

AGASSIZ (NEWS1130) – This morning students from the Agassiz Centre for Education donated their time to put on a breakfast for seniors.
Sandy Balascak says it’s an idea she came up with last year.
“I think that I had heard on the radio, one of the Christmas dinners that happens before Christmas and it just occurred to me, what about the people that are waking up by themselves? Diners are nice but you still have that very lonely time.”
The local legion is hosted the breakfast that started at 8 a.m. and was followed by a visit by Santa.
