Surrey Food Bank hopes donations will keep up after holidays

SURREY (NEWS1130) – It was a good Christmas, but the Surrey Food Bank still needs your help.
“We don’t just feed people at Christmas; we support people throughout the year,” notes Executive Director Marylin Herrmann.
“There are seasonal highs and lows, of course, when people need our help more than others. But… food banks are one charity that needs support all year long,” she says.
Herrmann adds every little bit helps and they would appreciate anything this time of year, even a single can of soup. “Surrey and North Delta are really generous communities and we find every year that they know we need their help.”
She notes if you can’t donate food, you can always volunteer your time.
