VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – A former BC premier is clarifying his thoughts about the gang-rape in India, after sending out a controversial tweet.
Ujjal Dosanjh is giving his thoughts about what needs to be done to prevent similar situations from happening again.
Dosanjh says often times it’s the woman who gets blamed for how she was dressed, but thinks the onus really falls on men, who he adds, need to learn how to control their urges.
“And if men can’t control their sexual thoughts then perhaps they should have their penises removed, that’s what the tweet says,” explains Dosanjh.
He is not calling for forcible castration or capital punishment, something he doesn’t believe would change anything. “I think what’s needed is a total change, a total revolution in men’s way of looking at the world. It’s not the woman’s fault,” he adds.
Last month a 23-year-old woman was gang-raped while on a bus in India. She died of her injuries in a Singapore hospital a week later.
The incident and her death prompted a series of angry protests around that country and here in Canada, including one in Surrey.

this is a non story anyway.
Disagree, when women spend billions of dollars in to industries that make themselves more appealing. Make up to hide facial imperfections, Lip stick to make lips redder and plump, bras to push up the breasts to make them more full, Heels for longer legs, all this to create an image of a perfect mating partner. Most women are hideous without these enhancements. Some even spend their money on surgery to make themselves more perfect, in turn tricking men which are very visual in to mating with the enhanced women’s crappy genes. So saying women can’t be the reason for the abuse because of their self created provocative ways is truly misleading.
I can’t wait for a huge gay guy who takes a shining to Tommy rapes him in a washroom at a bus station. Then I can tell Tommy it was his fault for wearing shorts. Maybe that’s the only way such simpltons will get the point.

Women don’t go crazy making themselves look more attractive so that they can be abused, raped and beat to death. They may be doing it to make themselves more appealing, but it certainly doesn’t mean they want to have their bodies violated by the likes of you.

So people who alter their appearances should be raped? Men who spend time in the gym in order to “make themselves more appealing” should be sexually assaulted?
Not to mention, you call women provocative when they change their appearance and “hideous” when they don’t, and completely forget that it’s up to the individual woman how SHE wants to dress. There’s no such thing as asking for rape, if you look up the definition of rape, it occurs WITHOUT consent. Before you tell women how they should dress, maybe you should tell men how to treat fellow humans.
Look into who controls the advertising industry that tells women how they should look. You’ll find that the majority are MEN.

If a man rapes a women and ruins her life forever. Its only fair to have his penis chopped off so his life is ruined as well. Since the justice system wont keep these idiots locked up, its much easier to chop their penis off so they cant do more harm to society.
Anyone that has been a victim or know a victim of sexual abuse would want the testicles of the rapist / attacker served on a silver platter. I certainly would.

Think about the victims, unfortunate situations; although in India, it has become unbelievable and very extreme situation, hundreds of sexual assaults goes unreported, remember a six years old was sexually assaulted right here in BC, why not such measures are brought in for the culprits. We may all agree, such assaults only happen, when a man loses his self control. I agree with Ujjal.
