David Booth expected to return soon

Uncategorized

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) –  The Vancouver Canucks fly to Chicago today to begin a four-game road trip against the Blackhawks Tuesday.

The Canucks could be clearing the way for forward David Booth to returned from injury. Today, the club put forward Andrew Ebbett on waivers and if he clears, he is expected to join the Chicago Wolves farm team.

Booth hasn’t played this season due to a groin injury suffered early in training camp. Booth was targeted for a spot on the second line after scoring just 16 goals last season. There’s no indication which game could be Booth’s return game.

The Canucks have not announced which goalie will be in net for the Chicago game.

They could face Blackhawks backup goalie Ray Emery, with starting goalie Corey Crawford out with an upper-body injury.

Emery stopped 25 shots in Chicago’s 3-2 win over the LA Kings on Sunday afternoon.

I’m not sure what anyone sees in this guy. He’s not a really good player so why disrupt what’s going on now? Trade him for younger draft picks.

I say welcome back David Booth ! Contrary to most critics , I think the Canucks, overall, had a terrific Game against the Blues. They lost in a “Shootout’, the most ridiculous occurrence in Modern History ( unless WE win it) I predict Lu in Net, and we will beat the Hawks. Go Canucks !
