The need for speed catches up with a young driver

ABBOTSFORD (NEWS1130) – History is repeating itself for one young driver.

One of the drivers who got caught excessively speeding on Highway 99 a couple of years ago has been caught again.

“I would put in the head shake, unbelieveable category,” says Cst. Ian MacDonald.

He says officers spotted an Audi weaving in and out of traffic, going way above the posted speed limit, up to 170 km/h.

“Equally dismaying is we were able to connect that driver to a summer 2011 incident where there were a number of high-end performance-based cars that were involved in a street racing incident on Highway 99,” explains MacDonald.

The young driver had just got his licence back two days before.

MacDonald says the Audi he was driving Friday isn’t his, but it has still been impounded.

It would never happen, but I agree, crush the car. It may not be his, but at least it might make the persons responsible for funding his lifestyle open their eyes and deal with his behaviour!

i dont know why all these ping pongs dont just go to europe on the autobahn. their family clearly have enough money to throw around on insurance and fines and to re-locate their lives to canada/ buy fancy cars and condos/homes

move to where the autobahn is
go drive the audi/porsche/ferrari at whatever speed you like !
