SURREY (NEWS1130) – A body has been found off of Surrey’s Colebrook Rd near 125 St; the death has been ruled a homicide and Surrey RCMP have relinquished investigative duties to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT).
The body was found burned, but investigators aren’t saying much else including the victim’s gender, how long it may have been at that location or possible cause of death.
“It is something that will come out of the autopsy eventually and some indication maybe at the initial examination but that’s something to come later,” says IHIT Corporal Barri Emam.
The body was discovered in a muddy, water-logged area, which in itself makes the investigation even more difficult.
“Of course it makes it more challenging for us but our investigators are experienced in this area and have dealt with such cases in the past,” says Emam.
Colebrook Rd is the same street that the body of Jaskaran Singh Sandhu was found on at the end of January, but the two crime scenes are kilometres apart. Sandhu was known to police.

Im shocked by the insensitivity of such comments. This is a human being who has been burned and thrown out just like garbage? In certain parts of the world and certain cultures, human life is worth nothing,and more so if you are a female, you are the lowest of the low. Females are not respected and if they ever speak up or want to make change in their lives are often disposed of without a second thought. Often these are as a result of arranged marriages. Canada should not be allowing these to continue, as too often they end with women being killed or dumped on the system. My thoughts go out to this person’s family.
It’s too bad free speech isn’t allowed for the comments on this site. Many of my posts about immiigration and the detrimental effects of it in Canada are never published. Everybody knows what is happening and we all feel the same way, but we cannot say what we feel or we are branded as “racists”.

Hey Globus, I love how you have come to the defense of Mike not knowing his true intention, but nevertheless, if he is in fact ‘fed up’ you seem to be very good a drawing grand conclusions that in the same vien you feel Lisa is not taken seriously, you would be no different. For how can you assert that ‘these people’ as a general view do not care for ‘Canadian values.’ The way you have defended the attack on Mike appears to strike a sensitive nerve with you, it would appear that perhaps you are the one that is also jealous.
