VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – A stagette turned violent Saturday night at Bar None nightclub in Yaletown.
A 29-year-old bride-to-be from Mission ended up with cuts to her head and legs in what officers are calling a “bar room brawl”.
In a Facebook post, the woman claims she was attacked by a staff member without provocation. “I had not made eye contact nor spoke one word to her when she grabbed me from behind and threw me across a table and brutally attacked me leaving me with a concussion, cuts and bruises all over my body oh and not to mention the nice stitches across my forehead.”
She says she was then dragged across a table by a staff member.
Vancouver Police will be looking at video to try to figure out how the fight started, and Sgt Randy Fincham says several groups were involved. “Somewhere in the middle, there will be the truth in what happened on the weekend. We do understand with tempers flaring, and with the possible addition of alcohol, this all may have lead to different perceptions of what they believe happened on the weekend.”
Fincham says they have been working with the bar and interviewing staff throughout the weekend and into today.
Bar None says it takes the safety of its patrons seriously.
No charges have been laid and the investigation is ongoing.

what do cave formations have to do with bar fights?
Even if provoked, the waitress should never get into a fight with a customer. If there is a problem there are bouncers to handle it.
The attacked group is from mission. Im sure the wedding party will end in a scrap too
mission/maple ridge/abby more trash than surrey if you ask me
Look at the size of her arms and ankles. The woman that threw her must have been a hulk. Would have loved to see that brawl.
Seen it before, a mouthy female with a plastic tiara on her head thinking she owns the undivided attention of the establishment and its workers. The waitress probably had it and snapped.
Another possibility is this woman is involved with the waitresses ex.
Stay tuned for the lawsuit sequel.
“the woman claims she was attacked by a staff member without provocation.”
Ya thats what everyone always says..for no reason at all the staff member attacked you. You didn’t do a thing and for no reason the staff member decided to attack just you…and only you.
“The police were called immediately and arrived on scene shortly after the altercation occurred. They have reviewed footage from the evening and have decided that no charges should be laid against either party.”
Sounds more like drunk girl woke up the next morning with bruises/cuts and couldn’t remember what she did that night because she was so wasted (it was a bachelorette party after all)…she then took pics of her bruises/cuts and put them on facebook to get some sympathy.
