The Canucks host the Red Wings Saturday at Rogers Arena.

The Vancouver Sun Run Fair is on this weekend at BC Place. The run happens Sunday.

Come to the Plant Swap and Sale Saturday at the Tupper Greenway on East 23rd between Carolina and St. George Street.

It’s Earth Day weekend so come out and join students from Youth for Climate Justice Now at their third annual parade and festival Saturday at Grandview Park.

There will also be a big Earth Day festival at Everett Crowley Park and at Burnaby Lake.

Vancouver Bach Choir presents Phantom of the Opera Saturday at the Orpheum.

Mark the Rotary Club of Vancouver’s 100th birthday Saturday at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

Check out Refashion Vancouver 2013 at the Roundhouse Exhibition Hall.

Drop by the Eastside Flea at WISE Hall on Adanac Saturday and check out the huge array of goods made by locals.

The Surrey Khalsa Vaisakhi Parade is Saturday on 85th and 128th.

The Fan Expo Vancouver is on this weekend at the Convention Centre.  The two day comic convention will feature lectures, Q&A’s and autograph signings.  Stan Lee, among many others, will be there.

Celebrate Earth Day at Garden City Park in Richmond is Sunday.  There will be fun events and a park clean-up.

The Telus World and Ski Festival wraps up this weekend.

Energize your mind, body, and spirit Sunday at I Can Do It at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.

The All Dressed in White Bridal Showcase is on Sunday at the Red Robinson Show Theatre in Coquitlam with over $35,000 in prizes to be won.
