Canucks tickets expected to be cheaper

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Canucks fans can start planning their year as the NHL has unveiled the schedule for the upcoming season.

This year, in terms of pricing, will be better than past years, according to Kingsley Bailey with Vancouver Ticket.

He says because we play every team this season, tickets won’t be as expensive. “So now, instead of having those five or 10 games that are going to be costly because that’s what everyone wants to see, now they can see all the games and the price is going to be more reasonable.”

“I can see tickets going for $175 for key games. I think it could be down in the $125 range all across the board just to get into a game,” he explains.

The Canucks kick off the season on October 3rd against the San Jose Sharks.

Some key match-ups include Cory Schneider and the New Jersey Devils coming to town on October 8th and the Canucks traveling to visit Alain Vigeneault and his Rangers in the Big Apple on November 30th.
