Blood sample requested from Michael Dunahee look-alike

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – There are hopes a man living in the Lower Mainland can solve a 22-year-old mystery.

Victoria police are getting a blood sample from a man who resembles an age-progressed composite of Michael Dunahee.

“As through a whole bunch of other investigative measures, we’ve pretty much ruled him out. We’re doing this as an extra set just to make sure it’s not,” says Cst. Mike Russell. “Every time the composite of Michael goes out we gets hundreds of tips. We investigate each one to the end of the earth, just to confirm or deny their validity.”

Dunahee was four years old when vanished from a playground in Victoria in 1991.
