Transit Police looking for sexual assault suspect

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Transit Police are turning to the public as they’re hoping to identify a man who is alleged to have sexually assaulted three women on the SkyTrain over the Labour Day long-weekend.

At approximately 11:30 am, Saturday, August 31, 2013, the alleged suspect boarded the SkyTrain at Edmonds Station in Burnaby.

He reportedly moved behind a woman and began touching her inappropriately, only to have the victim move away.

He was last seen approaching at least two other women and also rub and touch them in a sexual manner.

One witness was able to take photographs (see featured image) of the alleged suspect who was last seen still riding on the train heading towards downtown Vancouver.

The man is described as possibly an Hispanic male, 25 to 40 years, 5’5” to 5’8” tall, short black hair, wearing a white t-shirt with a grey emblem and an unknown word on the front, black shorts, sunglasses and Walkman-style headphones.
