Massive search tonight for missing Coquitlam man

COQUITLAM (NEWS1130) – The family of a missing man in Coquitlam is hoping you can help find him.

Sixty-four-year old Shin Ik Noh vanished on Wednesday.

His son Sam Noh says they will continue their search tonight. “We’re meeting at the headquarters located at 2624 St. John St.[in Port Moody], there’s a church right beside there. We’re going to be doing this all through the night until 11 p.m.”

Noh says if you’re unable to go to the group search, they’d like you to check your neighbourhood.

“A confirmed sighting we’ve received is in Burke Mountain, so that’s a confirmed sighting and we’ve received a lot of leads after that. What we’re asking is that if you think it’s him, go up to him. He’ll be confused, it’ll be pretty obvious, he might even smell at this point and be scruffy. We’d like you to hold him there because we’re getting to many leads and by the time they call 9-1-1 this individual has trailed off,” he explains.

Shin Ik Noh suffers from Alzheimer’s and has gone missing in the past.

Noh says the community support shown to his family is helping them keep hope alive.
