Kirkland recalls beef over E. coli risk

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – If you have any ground beef from Costco in your freezer, check the labels!
Costco is recalling the Kirkland Signature brand Organic Lean Ground Beef because it may be contaminated with pathogenic E. coli.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says the beef has been sold in Costco warehouses in BC, Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan. So far, no one has reported getting sick after eating it.
The affected product comes in 1.8-kg packages with a best before date of October 13th, 2015.
