Warrant issued for high-risk sex offender

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a high-risk sex offender.
Vancouver Police say Gerald McLean failed to return to to his halfway house and is considered a high risk to re-offend.
He is serving a long term supervision order after completing a two year sentence for for sexually assaulting a young child. He also has a previous conviction for sexually assaulting a teenage girl.
McLean is 44 years old, white, five-foot-seven, 175 pounds, with long blonde hair often worn in a pony tail. He has green eyes, a tattoo of an eagle on his upper left arm, a skull on his shoulder, and a tribal band on his upper right arm.
If you see him you are asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
