Council approves $500-million Burrard Gateway project

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Vancouver City Council has approved a major change to the city’s skyline.
It has approved the $500-million Burrard Gateway project.
The project will include a 54-storey tower and a 36-storey tower with a 7-storey podium for market residential, rental housing, retail uses including a grocery store. It will replace the Downtown Toyota dealership on Burrard and Drake.
It’ll have more than 800 condos and will be the third largest residential tower in the city.
