Two Vancouver malls in Top 10 for ‘productivity’ in N. America

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – A key measure of success for shopping malls puts two Vancouver properties in the Top 10 for all of North America.

It’s called “productivity,” which refers to the level of sales that a mall brings in.

Vancouver’s Pacific Centre ranks fourth, with sales of $1,335 per square foot according to Retail Insider. It’s also the highest in Canada, just ahead of two in Toronto.

Vancouver’s Oakridge is eighth at $1,132 of sales per square foot.
