VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The Vancouver Canucks’ admirable march to the backdoor of the postseason continues Saturday night against the Anaheim Ducks at Rogers Arena. Anaheim leads the season series 3-0.

It’s the first visit to Vancouver this season for an Anaheim team playing .500 hockey at the moment. The Ducks are just 4-4-2 in their last ten games, including a 4-3 overtime loss to the Oilers in Edmonton Friday.

Meanwhile, the Canucks have points in four consecutive games. Henrik Sedin is still day, but Kevin Bieksa will play after hurting his leg Thursday night in Colorado.

“We’ll see how it feels, but I got through the (morning) skate okay.” Bieksa said.

“At this time of the year, there’s alot of guys playing injured so if you can play, you play.” he added.

One constant for the Canucks has been the site of Eddie Lack between the pipes. Saturday night’s start is the 16th in a row for Lack, and he’s just trying to enjoy the ride.

“It’s always fun playing. I’m just trying to do my best every day.” Lack said.

“I feel fresh mentally, and physically I’m just looking forward to every game.” he continued.

Anaheim currently sits third in the West, while the Canucks are five points out of the final spot in the conference. There will also be some scoreboard watching tonight, as the Phoenix Coyotes and Minnesota Wild, the two wild card teams in the West go head to head. Dallas sits in 9th, two points up on Vancouver.
