VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Expect to see a lot more facial hair this month as Movember kicks off.

A fun event that mixes fashion and fabulous food and drinks hopes to raise a lot of money and awareness for prostate cancer. Maninder Dhaliwal is the organizer of “Moustaches for Movember” and she would love to see you out tomorrow night at Holt Renfrew.

The flagship store downtown is the venue for the VIP fashion show where many people of note in the community will flaunt their moustaches in support of the worthy cause.

It’s from 7 to 10 p.m. and is poised to be a massive event for Movember Canada, as the organization works to change the face of men’s health.

A number of celebrities including Tommy Europe and Jay DeMerit will take to the catwalk, showing off custom Movember ties and they’ll be auctioned off for the charity.

When doors open, three floors of complimentary whisky, wine and canapés will be available to ticket holders, as will beautiful fashion from the latest fall and winter collections.

Holt Renfrew is also donating 10 per cent of retail sales from the night to Movember.
