Two Vancouver police officers hit by car

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Two on duty officers were hit while walking in the crosswalk at West Broadway and MacKenzie Street.
It happened shortly before 5:00pm on Thursday and the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene to cooperate.
The VPD says one of the officers is currently undergoing x-rays and a CT scan, but her injuries are not life threatening.
The other officer is being treated for what are believed to be minor injuries.
The VPD Collision Investigation Unit has been called to the scene and will be looking into the factors involved and the cause of the collision.
