IHIT investigating stabbing death in Surrey

SURREY (NEWS1130) – A man who was stabbed in Surrey yesterday afternoon has died of his injuries.
Yesterday, Surrey Mounties informed us that a man had been stabbed a number of times in the Fleetwood area on 88th Avenue.
At this stage, we don’t know many details about the circumstances of the man’s death.
IHIT is taking over the file.
Homicide investigators have identified the victim but have yet to release that information to the public as they notify his family first.
This marks Surrey’s 17th homicide of 2014.
